Another Weekend at the pool

I know I am really getting lazy at updating my pictures frequently, I'm sorry.
This past weekend family came to stay with my parents and we spent most of the weekend barbecuing and playing in the pool.

I tried desperately to get some pictures of bubbles, but mainly just ran around pointing my camera in the air and hoping for the best:









Kennedy just watched on as mommy ran around like an idiot and the her cousin played in the pool:

Today was my 28th birthday & Ron and I took Kennedy to the Zoo. I wasn't sure if she would really pay attention to any of the animals, but she ended up checking out all of them and getting really excited. I think her favorite was the flamingos, probably because of their bright colors.






I tried to catch a picture of the gazelles running around but that was easier said than done:





Those things are fast!



This guy cracked me up:



Today I discovered that although girrafes are gorgeous, their tounges are by far the creepiest things EVER.  It's like a snake in their mouth- I shudder just thinking about it:



I got some better pictures of it, but I can't even stand to look at them.  It was that gross. 

As we were trying to find the exit we ran into this guy:

Sunday Afternoon

This past Sunday was a nice lazy day- bbq, dogs playing and Kennedy in her little pool. I wish days like this would last forever. 



The dogs played...

Baby Pool!

Today my sister brought Kennedy and baby pool to play in. It was her first time in water other than a bathtub and she wasn't too crazy about it at first, but she quickly learned to love it and it was so much fun to watch her play.  I didn't have my camera so all the pictures in the pool were taken by my dad.







And a couple pics my dad took of her getting a bath a few days earlier:



this one just cracks me up:



After the pool I borrowed the camera a took some pictures of Kennedy and Ron.  The lighting is harsh and I can't edit for the life of me, but it was too cute to not take some pictures.

Chairs

I tried taking Kennedy in our patio the other day for some pictures, but she was more interested in climbing all over the chairs...
